Each year, the DDBSA recognizes the Dogue de Bordeaux holding the most working titles. This achievement is honored with a certificate and engraved plaque presented during the weekend of the National Specialty. This award has been in existence since 2000 and is awarded to dogs owned by members of the DDBSA. Below are the current and past winners of this award along with the titles earned and a brief description of the titles.

2007-2011 ~ Mount Sinai's Bela Jade (Jade)
	Owned by Jennifer Doyle, Ohio Titles earned: CGC, CD, RN, NAP, NJP, CL3-F, CL3-R, CL3-H, CL3-S, RA, OAP, OJP, TT, CL4-F, CL4-R, CL4-H, CL4-S, RE, C-ATCH, ChST, AXP, AJP, MXP, MJP DDBS WD Titles: WDI(5), WDII(7), WDIII(12) Notes: Jade is the first DDB to compete in agility in the United States. Jade has consistently achieved placements, not only in agility events, but also in obedience and rally obedience events. In December, 2006 Jade earned an overall high score for Rally Obedience Novice. In December, 2009 Jade became the first DDB to earn an invitation to the prestigious "AKC Eukanuba Agility Invitational" in Long Beach, CA. There, Jade was recognized for her work and breed contributions at the AKC Agility Banquet. Jade represented the breed, well, qualifying in both of her runs on Sunday. *Description of titles:* CGC - Canine Good Citizen through the AKC CD – Companion Dog through the AKC CL3-F, CL3-R, CL3-H, CL3-S, CL4-F – Agility titles through Canine Performance Events TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society) CL4, C-ATCH and Ch-St titles- Agility Titles through CPE (Canine Performance Events) RN, RA, RE- Progression of title achievement in AKC Rally. NAP, NJP, OAP, OJP, AXP, AJP - Progression of title achievement in AKC Agility. MXP, MJP – AKC Agility Master titles awarded to a dog that has already achieved the Excellent Titles. In order to be a "Master Agility" or "Master Jumper", you must accumulate 10 'legs' or 'qualifying runs' in Excellent courses once you have achieved your ExcellentTitles. The ‘P’ in the titles means that Jade runs 'preferred', which means she can jump 4 inches below her normal AKC jump height (20" instead of 24" for Jade) and she gets a few extra seconds added to her course time. 2006 ~ Ch. Gothic Guardiens Purl in a Quiet Storm (Purl)
	Owned by Rick and Val Barr, California Titles earned: CGC, TDI, TT, CS, CI, RN, NR1 DDBS WD Titles: WD1, WD2, WD3 Notes: While earning her CS title, Purl had a High In Test (HIT) score beating 22 Rottweilers and 1 German Shepherd. Purl is the first Dogue de Bordeaux to earn CS and CI carting titles as well as the first DDB to earn a RN title through the AKC and NR1 through the NCA. Description of titles: CGC - Canine Good Citizen through the AKC TDI - Therapy Dog International through Therapy Dog International, Inc. TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society) CS – Carting Started through the American Rottweiler Club (ARC); first level carting, on leash CI – Carting Intermediate through ARC; second level carting, off leash work RN – Rally Novice through the AKC NR1 – Rally through National Canine Association (NCA) Questions about Purl’s titles or training? 2005 ~ Liberty’s Lenox (Max)
	Owned by Denise and Ed Harris, Texas Titles earned: CGC, TDI, TT, UCD, BH, Brevet, MR1 DDBS WD Titles: WD1, WD2, WD3 Notes: Max is the first Dogue de Bordeaux to earn Brevet and MR1 titles. Description of titles: CGC - Canine Good Citizen through the AKC TDI - Therapy Dog International through Therapy Dog International, Inc. TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society) UCD – United Companion Dog through the United Kennel Club (UKC) BH – BEGLEITHUNDPRÜFUNG, which is the Schutzhund basic obedience/temperament test; through the Schutzhund club of Austin, TX. Brevet – Mondioring Brevet, an introductory test of obedience and protection work, to assess character, courage, trainability, and suitability for work; through the Lonestar Mondioring Club in Bulverde, TX. 	Owned by Leslie and Lawrence Cameron, Vanessa, ON, Canada Titles earned: CGC, PVD, TT, HIC DDBS WD Titles: WD1, WD2, WD3 Description of titles: CGC - Canine Good Citizen through the AKC PVD – Pet Visitation Dog through the Ontario Working Collie Association. TT - Temperament Tested through the ATTS (American Temperament Test Society) HIC – Herding Instinct Certification, shows that a dog, who may have never had any exposure to livestock, has the natural instinct to herd; Ontario Working Collie Association
