Titles not listed as well as equivalent or similar titles from other venues will be accepted at the discretion of the Working Dog Ability Committee.
The total number of titles earned by a dog in each level will be reflected in that dog’s WD title. For example, a dog earned a WDI by passing the CGC. The following year the dog earns a CD and is now a WDI(2). If that same dog goes on to earn a Rally title, it will be a WDI(3). The same applies to Levels II and III.
Annual awards will be presented to:
- The #1 Working Dog overall, based on the total number of titles earned (cumulative). This dog will be included in the Working Dog Hall of Fame on the DDBSA website.
- The #1 dog in each level for the calendar year when at least one dog has earned more than one title in that WD Level.
- The dog that has earned the most overall titles for the calendar year.
- The owner who has put a title (or titles) on the most number of dogs (cumulative).
All WD titles and awards earned prior to these revisions will remain unchanged unless a dog earns additional titles under the revised program. These dogs, and all titles previously earned, will be switched over to the new WD Level program.
To Obtain
Working Dog Certification from the DDBSA
Mail a photocopy of your certification or ID Cards (applications and score
sheets will not be accepted, you must send in a copy of the certificates or ID
