Judges Materials
The DDBSA is proud to present the “HEARTS” flyer, a Brief Guide to Judging the Dogue de Bordeaux. While we would like to make all of the materials available online, it is not in the best interest of the Judges Education Committee for the following reasons:
 | The expense involved in printing, photocopying and mailing the materials to judges as well as hosting seminars is very costly. Presently our only means to generate funds for this committee is to be able to charge judges for our full packets. If the materials were available on our website, judges would be able to print these items for free. |
| Additionally, by making the materials only available at one of our club approved seminars, it creates more of a draw to attend. In our seminars, the materials are covered in great detail and the opportunity for hands on experience is available, both of which are very important to the education of the judge. |
We are pleased to report all of our judges education materials will be made available to our members for viewing at the DDBSA General Meeting held during our National Specialty weekend. We realize that not all members can attend each year, however by moving the show to a different region annually, creates an opportunity for members across the US to attend.
NEW: AKC online Judges Study Guides!
In preparation for our July entrance to the Working Group, the AKC has published three judges study guides on the Dogue de Bordeaux. The DDBSA worked closely with the AKC to develop these pages and we feel they are an excellent source for not only judges, but owners and breed enthusiasts as well.
