Acheivements: Being Stoggie

Stoggie was part of a package, when we bought Noodles, the breeder told us to take her too. How could we leave her there? She looked so lost. It seems Noodles was her only friend in life, left outside in the MA winters, they only had each other. We took her home, but I could not keep her at my house. She went to live with friends' parents, but that did not work out, she paced all day long. Finally - when we were told she was sick and not doing well, we took her back. Boy was she happy to see Noodles! Finally she was back with her soul mate. We never showed Stoggie because she was so shy, and very small, we called her our " doguin". She suffered a bout of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, pyometria, and getting beat up a few times by the other dogs, but always did well. She grew on us and grew to love it here. She lost her soul mate in 2001, Noodles, and was never the same, kind of withdrawn. In the winter of 2004, when she was 11years old, Stoggie had a bad accident and broke her leg. Due to the severity of the break and her wax/wane eating habits and age, Stoggie took the trip to be reunited with Noodles once again. She was one of our firsts, and will never be forgotten. The old ones can really break your heart.
