In Memory of Kong Bunteman
Rescued April 17, 2000- August 12, 2009

I want to thank all who participate in or donate to any kind of rescue program. They help so many unfortunate dogs find their forever home, and allow them to touch and enrich their owners lives, just as Kong did for me. I especially want to thank George Brown for picking up Kong at a New Jersey shelter and thinking of me to foster him. George picked up Kong after a call from Virginia Wind, of OEM Rescue. Kong was in the "basement" of the Tinton, NJ shelter, a place where many dogs go and never return.  He was awaiting his turn to be euthanized.  He was a stray in Newark, NJ,  who was severely neglected, he was suffering from a generalized case of demodex and he had a baseball size growth on his side. Without Virginia's compassion and George's LOVE FOR THE BREED, I would have never had my 9 years and 4 months with this extraordinary boy, Kong. It has been a year since Kong's passing. There has not been a day that I have not thought of my special boy. My memories are endless. He mad me so happy, sometimes so mad, but most of all so loved. I miss him so much!

Thanks again, to all who helped Kong, and to all who help rescue.

Kong's Mom,
Katharina Bunteman
