AMBASSADOR AWARD
The purpose of the Ambassador Award is to give tribute to a purebred Dogue de Bordeaux that has accomplished an outstanding level of achievement and distinction which brings honor and recognition to the breed. The dogue so honored has impacted the reputation of the breed is some significant way.
Eligibility:
| Nominator need not be a member of the Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America, and nominee need not be a member-owned dogue. | |
| Nominee should have promoted the breed through avenues other than, or in addition to Conformation, Obedience and Working aspects. | |
| Examples of areas in which a dogue may qualify as an Ambassador include, but are not limited to therapy, community service, rescue, education, and other activities that bring credit to the breed in the eyes of the public. |
General Rules:
| This award will be won only once by any dogue. | |
| Award may not be presented annually, but rather as a deserving candidate emerges. | |
| Nomination must be made by completing the relevant form. | |
| Nominations must be postmarked by January 31st to be considered for that year. | |
| This Award will be presented at the National Specialty. | |
| The Award Committee may recommend revisions to this program with such revisions to be approved by majority vote of the Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America Board of Directors. Notification of revisions will be made to the membership on a timely basis. |
